Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India is trying to bring about a major transformation in the country by using artificial intelligence (AI) in the right way. He urged representatives of AI-related startups to ensure that India’s AI models are honest, impartial, transparent, and protect people’s private information.
The Prime Minister held a meeting with representatives of artificial intelligence (AI) companies (startups) at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg. During the meeting, he said that new technology companies and AI entrepreneurs are the true architects of India’s future.
The meeting was attended by 12 selected startups from the country, which were chosen for the India Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit-2026, to be held in India next month. Representatives of these companies presented details of their work to the Prime Minister. They provided information. The companies stated that
the field of artificial intelligence in India is
growing very rapidly and has great potential in the
future. They said that India is gradually becoming
a hub for new technologies and is establishing a
strong identity for itself in the world.
